About Us:

Founded in 2024 and based in Freemansburg, Pennsylvania, Kate’s House of Paws is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable animals throughout the Lehigh Valley area.  We are a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, built on compassion, responsibility, and hope.

Our mission centers on rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible placement. We take in cats and kittens in need, provide necessary veterinary care and socialization, and match them with carefully screened adoptive homes. Each adoption is a fresh start — not only for the animal, but also for the family who opens their heart and home.

Beyond adoptions, we actively manage a barn colony, providing safe shelter, consistent care, and veterinary support for working cats who thrive in outdoor environments. We also support community Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, helping to humanely reduce the homeless cat population and improve the lives of community cats throughout the region.

Our work is made possible by the incredible generosity of our supporters. We are powered entirely by a dedicated network of volunteers who give their time, energy, and compassion to this mission. Foster homes are especially vital to our success, and we are always in need of loving families willing to provide temporary shelter until our rescued animals find their fur-ever homes.

Together, with the support of our community, we strive to offer hope, healing, and love to animals in need throughout our surrounding communities.
